पेपर 1 - Civil Engineering (200 गुण, 3 तास, इंग्रजी, वर्णनात्मक)

  1. Strength of Materials - stresses, strains, principal stresses, bending moment, shear force, torsion, beam bending/deflection आणि column buckling.
  2. Theory of Structures - beams, frames, trusses, slope-deflection आणि moment-distribution methods.
  3. Computer-aided Analysis and Design of Structures - computer programming applications; Simpson/trapezoidal rules, Newton-Raphson, bisection, Gauss elimination, Gauss-Jordan आणि iteration methods.
  4. Structural Analysis - arches, suspension cables, influence lines, stiffness आणि flexibility matrix methods.
  5. Steel Structures - plastic analysis, bolted/welded connections, columns, footings, trusses, beams आणि plate girders.
  6. Construction Planning and Management - management, materials, safety, network analysis, equipment, site layout, quality control, agreements, PPP/EPC आणि labour/industry laws.
  7. Design of Reinforced Concrete Structures - WSM आणि limit-state design.
  8. Bridge Engineering - site selection, bridges, discharge/waterway/span/afflux/scour, loads, erection, strengthening, cofferdams आणि caissons.
  9. Concrete Technology - wet/hardened concrete, tests, mix design, admixtures आणि formwork.
  10. Prestressed Concrete - principles, materials, IS-code stresses, prestressing systems/losses, pre-tensioned आणि post-tensioned beams, cable profile, end blocks आणि bridge girders.
  11. Geotechnical Engineering - soil properties/stresses, shear strength, compaction, consolidation, earth pressure, slopes, bearing capacity, settlement, foundations आणि engineering geology.

पेपर 2 - Civil Engineering (200 गुण, 3 तास, इंग्रजी, वर्णनात्मक)

  1. Surveying - distance measurement, compass/plane-table/levelling/theodolite surveying, traversing, tacheometry, curves, photogrammetry, geodetic/hydrographic surveying आणि advanced instruments.
  2. Engineering Materials - concrete, bitumen and asphalt materials, fly ash, sustainable materials, stone, brick, cement, lime, mortar, timber, plastics, steel, paints आणि varnishes.
  3. Building Planning and Construction - planning/design, bye-laws, building services, foundations, masonry, RCC/steel structures, floors, openings, roofs, finishes आणि waterproofing.
  4. Fluid Mechanics - fluid properties/statics/kinematics/dynamics, flow measurement, open/closed conduits, pipe losses, cavitation, siphon, water hammer, boundary layer आणि pipe networks.
  5. Fluid Machines - turbines, centrifugal/reciprocating pumps आणि powerhouse layout.
  6. Irrigation Engineering - crop water requirements, irrigation methods, dams, spillways, canal/cross-drainage works आणि river training.
  7. Highway Engineering - highway planning/alignment/geometric design, curves, grade separation, pavement आणि traffic engineering.
  8. Tunnel Engineering - surveys, soft/hard-ground tunnelling, ventilation/drainage, cut-and-cover, TBM, NATM, lining, irrigation/highway/metro tunnelling.
  9. Estimating, Costing and Valuation - specifications, estimates, tenders/contracts, rate analysis, valuation आणि arbitration.
  10. Engineering Hydrology - hydrological cycle, precipitation, evaporation, infiltration, runoff, hydrographs, reservoirs, floods, routing आणि groundwater.
  11. Environmental Engineering - water supply, treatment/distribution, wastewater/sewerage/pollution control आणि solid-waste management.
